If you’ve noticed that your WordPress URLs include a page ID and want to remove it.
Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide:

Log in to WordPress: Access your WordPress account by entering your username and password. This will take you to your WordPress dashboard.

Access Permalink Settings: From your dashboard, look to the left for the sidebar. Hover over the “Settings” tab and select “Permalinks”. This is where you adjust the format of your URLs.

Change URL Structure: In the “Permalinks” settings, you’ll see several options for your URL structure. These are “Plain”, “Day and name”, “Month and name”, “Numeric”, “Post name”, and “Custom Structure”. If you’re currently using “Plain” or “Numeric”, your URLs will include a Page ID. To remove this, select either “Day and name”, “Month and name”, “Post name”, or use “Custom Structure” to define your own format.

Save Changes: Once you’ve selected a new URL structure, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Save Changes”. WordPress will automatically update your URLs to follow the new structure, removing the page ID.
Note: Changing the permalink structure will affect the URL of all your pages and posts. This could potentially impact SEO and lead to broken links if not properly managed. If you have a lot of existing content, consider setting up 301 redirects from your old URLs to your new ones to prevent 404 errors.
